THE BEST ADVENTURE IN THE WORLD.

Well ,would you like to hear my adventure okay it all begins with me at my new house it doesn't look that new oops going back to me  we were cleaning  up and putting the furniture in the house then my boyfriends came to help just making it clear there my friends that are boys they were helping  lift the furniture into the house then I saw something right under the wood I picked it up and it was and old in day coin it said something like queen Elizabeth on it I showed my mum and dad they told me that when there mum and dad where there that’s when that sort of money was there it was like in 1982 it was only when my mum    only nine or ten  when they went shopping to buy some food for them at home and eat for dinner .

On Saturday morning it was about 8 o'clock in morning my friends May and Katrina came to pick me up I ask my mum and dad if I could go and they said yes so then I got change and we went I was telling them about the coin that I found May said"WOW that is extraordinary Katrina said I wonder what it was like in the old in days.
Lucy came over and said The olden days were boring I said hey Lucy were You stalking us she said mayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyybbbbbbbbbbbeeeeeeeee May said "If you want to join along then come on Lucy excepted for us to be angry but we weren't .
We all decided to go and get some Ice cream we were still talking about the coin then we went to my aunty's house to ask her if she knew more information cause she was 45 then when we arrived there were lots of people i didn't even know I didn't care I just use my manners and went inside and started asking questions and she was saying all these weird thing that I didn't understand but I just went with it and writed down notes of what she was saying.
When I got all the information I needed but for some reason one of the Indian men told me to wait so it told me what it was like in the old in day's then I got stuck with him he was talking forever it took 50 minutes i was so bored but at least I got more information then I excepted.
So I finish getting all my information down I was trying to put the puzzle pieces together then I just let it go cause it was getting boring then we went to my uncle's house and he gave me 40 bucks then we went to the mac donals.
That was my mystery for the day.

Year 5 and 6 Camp

Start writing here:Wow on the first day of camp it was amazing we had turns on all the activities but first at eight o'clock we all went into the hall with mufti then we had a karakia for all of us to be safe then we began our adventure for camp.

All the group’s went to their activities my group caring went straight away to kayaking with  Mr Burt,we had instructions from Mr Burt that were very important like  what hand to put on the right and the left or to see how many people can fit in one kayak.

So we were ready to leave and go on the kayak’s  when it was my turn I went in a double kayak  with Rowana it was a bit easier with two  the person in the front is the leader of the speed and the back person is the controlling person.

So when me and Rowana  push the kayak to Mr Burt than 1  minute later Mr Burt yelled Arietta rowana come on you have two  kayak’s for me and rowana but when we look there was only one seat in each of them Me and Rowana were terrified that we couldn't go together Mr Burt said “come on girls we don't have all day"  “But  why do we have to go in one kayak explained Ariettah. “Why do we have to go by ourselves Mr Burt we might get bump by someone or we might fall off the kayak”.

When we were finish Mr Burt was talking to us how well we done and that we were well behaved then we had a swim for ten Min by the end it was morning tea we walk straight away to school cause we were so hungry.

When  morning tea was finish we had a little practise and a bit of blog writing our next activity  was top town it was amazing we were so fast at everything but what was important to me in the activity where that we help each other we showed empathy and we had fun altogether our activities in top town was throwing water balloons,walk together on three  woods,and a shooting game.

Next all the groups and leaders went to the big tent and sat under it we close to having our swim we ate fruit and cookies.

Then one of the groups went to the GI pools we had turns at the pools.

Then we had dinner and went to sleep cause our movies went funny.

The Year Five and Six Camp

WOW on the first day of camp it was pretty amazing our group went kyaking we had instructions that were very important to all of us and the teachers we were told form Mr Burt to take the kayak's out near the beach there were different  sort's of kyaks there was one of them that had  2 seat's for two people but the other kayaka only  has one seat per person it was quiet hard at the begging but in the middle part it was like we were professional's at kayaking. So when everybody got there turn   then Mr Burt told us that we were finish and we had ten more minutes and we should use that time so he said that we could go swimming  then when we finish Mr Burt got all of us together and talk how great it was .

My Holiday Highlight

THE ADVENTURE BEGINS

So me and my family decided to travel  to Wellington for a holiday it was like a adventure .

When we arrived everybody was excited,joyful  and happy.

My dad(rid van) was talking with the adult’s until they all told us to get on the car were going camping I felt terrified it would probably feel like a bear is coming and kidnapping all the kids.

So,we were putting up the tent while we heard a  noise from the trees and the bushes all the adults were afraid that something was going to come and eat us suddenly my baby sister came out everybody screamed I was the only one laughing.

So,me and my cousin(Frank) went for a walk we wanted to find something interesting or mysterious.

Meanwhile I was just about to get a drink until I could hear all the adults screaming really loud and noisy so I ran as fast as I could and all I saw was a little dog he was the cutest dog I had ever seen.

I was so amaze to see a dog in a dark spooky place.

THEN SOMETHING HORRIBLE happened it started to rain really bad we rush to the tents and dried our self up ,we all got into our pj's and went to sleep cause we had a long day ahead of us.

Using your WITS

Have you ever been in trouble with a friend of yours? Well my name is May and I have a friend called Arietta. We always see people fight and they never use their WITS, so we are going to teach you how to use your WITS.

The first step of WITS is Walk Away. W stands for Walk Away.  Walk Away means if someone tries to get in a fight with you just Walk Away from it. If you see someone having a fight don’t go to the fight even though there are lots of people,  just stay away from it.

The next step is to Ignore It. If someone is forcing you to go and look at the fight just Ignore It and if they say to come and stick up for them just walk away. Also if someone is getting in trouble with a teacher don’t go there, if you see other people going there just Ignore It.

The T in Talk about it means if you are sad and you think you need to tell someone you can talk about it to a friend or a prefect. It’s good  talking about it with a teacher cause then you feel more better letting it out.  

Last but not least  Seek help. You know when to seek help is when you know fighting is not right so you can go and tell someone or if someone is hurt then you can find a prefect or a teacher. The reason why you seek help is because you can find someone to help you or someone.Then you will feel better that you helped that other person or yourself.

Using your WITS is good for you and a  friends. Its good for everyone but mostly those who fight. Using your WITS has helped me alot cause its all about Walking Away,Ignoring It,Talk About and Seeking Help. These all are good ways helping you and doing the Pt England Way:)
